Mosaic shop front created for chocolate maker Bellanger in Le Mans city center (5 place Saint Nicolas).
8m² – Briare enamels, Winckelmans porcelain stoneware, Sicis glass paste, gold tessera. The mosaic pieces are hand cut.

Designed by the communication and design agency Machin Bidule. The motifs represent the world of chocolate, its savours, its utensils… The project was to create a classic yet playful, chic and gourmet shop front. We have played with the materials’ contrasts (matt/shiny) and created an optical illusion with the brand name and the columns on the sides.
